Gut renovation of flood damaged 1 bedroom apartment
Failure of communal storm drains resulted in the basement bedroom of a 1 bedroom
apartment in the Jewelry Quarter flooded, causing significant damage to all internal spaces.
Airwaves FM mobilised to remove internal fixtures ahead of a 3 week drying programme with
heating fans and industrial dehumidifiers placed on site. Once a certificate of dryness was
produced, Airwaves FM fully renovated the internal space renewing all plasterboard, skirting
& architrave and internal doors. The wardrobe was also fully rebuilt to match the existing
flood damaged installation,
A new herringbone floor was installed throughout the property and the area redecorated as
per the client’s specification.
