Ducting Works at Lidl Distribution Centre
Working in tandem with our client’s electricians, Airwaves FM were tasked with assisting with
preparation and finishing of ducting works. Groundworks team cut a 75lm channel in the
main concourse of the distribution centre, using a diamond blade channel cutter .
Once our client had installed their ducting, the area was infilled with C40 cement and A142
12mm rebate bars to accommodate frequent HGV traffic. Surface mounted terminals for
earthing grounding points were protected with pre-fabricated checker plate.
In addition to the ground works, 30 x 21450kg concrete jersey barriers were delivery to site.
On completion, the entire area was pressure washed.
